Sandy Bainum has just released an album of simply some of the most enjoyable tunes from the American Songbook and beyond – all chosen for their effortless, straightforward sentiments and relatable themes.  From the joyous “Cockeyed Optimist” of South Pacific and the glorious “Good Night My Someone” from The Music Man, to the pop hit “You and Me Against the World” and the jazzy Dave Brubeck classic “Something to Sing About,” each song reveals another thrilling facet of Sandy’s vocal talents and emotional range. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with a phenomenal 34-piece orchestra and arranged and conducted by Sandy’s award-winning musical director Lanny Meyers.  The legendary Bruce Kimmel served as producer and composer of the title song “Simply.”
